Uptown, paradoxically, is located just east of the nerve center that is downtown Denver, making it über-convenient. Add to that a diverse assortment of restaurants, watering holes and architecture and you've got one of the city's most popular neighborhoods.

Dwelling styles abound, including Denver Squares, Victorian, luxury apartment complexes, bungalows and Queen Anne-style homes.

Uptown's 17th Avenue is Denver's "Restaurant Row," where foodies can indulge in a different restaurant every night of the week. Uptown is home to hipster restaurants, upscale dining, vegan delights, dive bars, gay bars and sports bars.
