During the 2008 Democratic National Convention, many cultural events will be taking place throughout Denver. Most of the DNC action takes place in Downtown Denver (like at Sculpture Park pictured above) and surrounding neighborhoods. All the events featured below are open to the public, and most are free or reasonably priced.

The Red Rocks 2008 calendar has been announced. The most exciting act on the schedule thus far is the Sunrise Easter Service. The most current band on the schedule is Big Head Todd and the Monsters. Mmmm, mega yawn.

Check out PickYourOwnChristmasTree - a great website to visit for locating a Christmas tree. I choose to head out to U Cut Tree Farm in Franktown, CO.

Go buy concert tickets for any show at Red Rocks Amphitheater as you will not be disappointed by the venue. Hopefully the performer is great too!

One of the most coveted events of the year in Colorado is the annual fall trip to the mountains to see the Aspens.
