By definition, a bazaar is "a fair at which miscellaneous articles are sold." Highlands Ranch Community Association's Spring Bazaar upholds that definition. The bazaar atmosphere attracts a multitude of vendors who sell a wide variety of handcrafted as well as commercial items. Look for treasures such as handcrafts, scrap booking materials, candles, dolls, jewelry and much more. Free and open to the public.

This Friday, head to The Robusto Room in Lone Tree for an evening of art, music and culture. The martini lounge and cigar room, quietly located near Park Meadows Mall, will present a new art exhibit called Reflections: Two Great Tastes That Taste Great Together.

During the 2008 Democratic National Convention, many cultural events will be taking place throughout Denver. Most of the DNC action takes place in Downtown Denver (like at Sculpture Park pictured above) and surrounding neighborhoods. All the events featured below are open to the public, and most are free or reasonably priced.

I like to think of Mickey Zeppelin, a Denver native and real estate developer, as an urbanpreneur. Denver has become the urban environment is it today - where thousands live, work and play - due much in part to the development projects that have checkered his career. As a recent Colorado Construction article states, “He built lofts in LoDo when most people had no idea what a loft was.”

Belmar, located in Lakewood, is a defining mix-use neighborhood, and The Lab at Belmar is a defining feature. Part art museum, part think tank, park community forum, The Lab at Belmar makes living here all the more unique. Find apartments in Belmar at hubbuzz, and make the art, culture and convenience of this neighborhood all just part of being home.

Miniature replicas of the wildly popular I See What You Mean, aka the Big Blue Bear, are available for purchase at the Colorado Convention Center and the Denver Art Museum. I See What You Mean is part of Denver's Public Art Program that supports and promotes public art through out the city.
