The Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum, located in Golden, CO, is the first museum in the US dedicated to mountaineering. The museum’s goal is to ‘educate the visitor about mountaineering, how and why mountaineers climb, and the mountains themselves.’

Vita, located in the lower Highlands neighborhood (1575 Boulder St - the purple building next to Lola), has received kudos from 5280 readers as having the best wait staff and the best ambiance in town. Good food or not, appreciation in these two categories can make or break a restaurant. The good news is Vita has great food too.

Miniature replicas of the wildly popular I See What You Mean, aka the Big Blue Bear, are available for purchase at the Colorado Convention Center and the Denver Art Museum. I See What You Mean is part of Denver's Public Art Program that supports and promotes public art through out the city.
