The US Fund for UNICEF is looking for volunteers to help with the Denver Tap Project! Volunteers are needed to launch the campaign, from working with local restaurants to doing PR/ blogging for us. It's a great opportunity to meet people if you're just moving to the area, plus you'll be a part of a fantastic campaign!

Every year Women’s Bean Project Holiday Fair offers a wide range of inexpensive gift ideas for everyone on your holiday list. Whether you are shopping for friends, family, teachers, neighbors, co-workers, clients or even the dog sitter, our Holiday Fair has something for all the people in your life. Sample mouth-watering goodies while also making a valuable contribution to Women’s Bean Project and the community.
ABOUT WOMEN’S BEAN PROJECT:
Women’s Bean Project employs women from backgrounds of chronic unemployment and poverty, and helps them develop the work and interpersonal skills needed to function independently in the workplace and community. Within the context of a viable business, these women earn a steady paycheck, develop solid transferable work skills and strengthen self-confidence and personal responsibility. Seventy percent of the nonprofit’s revenue comes from the selling of its products.

Vita, located in the lower Highlands neighborhood (1575 Boulder St - the purple building next to Lola), has received kudos from 5280 readers as having the best wait staff and the best ambiance in town. Good food or not, appreciation in these two categories can make or break a restaurant. The good news is Vita has great food too.
