Richard Thompson, founder of zootoo.com, announced on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that one deserving pet shelter in the U.S. would win up to $1 million to be used for a makeover - which many pet shelters need. Maxfund No-Kill Animal Adoption Center, is currently ranked #15 in the list of possible winners and they could sure use the makeover.

Here's how you can help - supporters of Maxfund have to join zootoo.com (free, takes about 5 minutes) and choose the shelter they want their "points" to be applied to. Points are accumulated by loading pictures of your pets (that should be easy!), providing reviews of pet products and services (maybe you love your vet?) and being a good referrer of other pet lovers.

The top 20 shelters in the U.S. will be in the final group of contestants, and the winner will come from that group.

There are tens of millions of pets out there - and the numbers are growing all the time. (Did anyone get a puppy for Christmas?) If you want to support Maxfund and help them win, join zootoo.com and, while you’re at it, show off your pals to the rest of the pet-loving world.

If you’re looking for an apartment that allows cats and/or dogs, use this search form by entering the type pet friendly apartment you must have and you will recieve search results with Pet Friendy Apartments in Denver.
