Great Denver Mom Walks

Posted by krose on 7/9/2007 1:39:00 PM in Washington Park and Platt Park, Cheesman Park, Bonnie Brae, Cherry Creek, the outdoors, out and about

Washington Park - This walk is about 2.5 miles around the perimeter. Wash Park is prime real estate for just about anything on your walk - people watching, dog dodging, flower gazing and cheerleading on the various bikers, rollerbladers, tennis or baskbetball players.

Cheesman Park - Looking for something a little quieter? Cheesman might be just the place for you. While you will still see plenty of other walkers/joggers, it is a large open park in the middle that tends to be quieter. No bball, tennis or the like - but you do pass the Denver Botanic Gardens, some beautiful high rise condos and gorgeous historic mansions which definitely keep things interesting as you pump those arms.

Cherry Creek North - This is the perfect mid-morning or weekend walk. Not only can you get some exercise, but you can pop into various shops for a break. My kind of walk.
