This area crackles with military history. Fort Logan was a post for over 70 years, located on the outskirts of Denver. Way back, President Grover Cleveland signed a bill calling the place, "Camp Near the City of Denver." This long title was changed two years later to its present name.

Thanks to the preservation efforts of the Friends of Historic Fort Logan, some of the original buildings still stand to educate people about its history. Curious? Take a tour!

The industrialized area near the Platte River and Englewood Country Club is being developed into a retail district. It's called River Point at Sheridan and the plans are big—shops, dining and entertainment.

Take note, on Sundays from Spring to Fall, the population almost doubles as over 100 teams and thousands of spectators take to the fields of the Fort Logan Soccer Complex for International Soccer League play.
