Hosted by GerRee Hinshaw and guest co-hosts from all over Denver and Colorado, Freak Train is a unique "open stage" event where area performers from rank amateur to seasoned professional can take over the Bug stage for five minutes. (It may just be the longest five minutes of your life!) Called "Denver's best-kept theatrical secret" (Denver Post), this monthly event is now in its eighth year and draws standing-room-only crowds. The Onion and Breckenridge Brewery sponsor the event. Freak Train rolls out on the last Monday of every month (except December). Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm. Tickets are $5.
