You may not know this, or you may already know this, but Colin Hay is one of the original band members of the Australian band Men at Work. We loved him in the 80s and we still love him now. Honestly. He started a solo career after the break up of the band and has sort of an acoustic soft mellow vibe. The ever popular soundtrack to Garden State features his song "I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You". It's all coming back, isn't it? Long story short, he's appearing in Denver on Saturday night at the Soiled Dove in Lowry. I'm looking forward to checking out the new digs for the Soiled Dove almost as much as I'm looking forward to hearing the ex-Man at Work in action.
