…a little urban chicdom

Everywhere you look there’s something going on. Whether you like to people-watch, play golf, or seek some serious intellectual stim — you’ll find it here.

The neighborhood centers around 330 acres of City Park, Denver’s largest. How big, you ask? It actually contains the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, City Park Boathouse, Ferrill and Duck Lakes and the City Park Golf Course. There are even free jazz concerts every Sunday throughout the summer.

Colfax is peppered with hip restaurants, “everybody knows your name” neighborhood bars, clubs, lots of businesses and the famous Tattered Cover bookstore. Denver’s restaurant row on 17th Avenue starts in Uptown and ends in City Park. Check out the historic brick residential buildings and “Denver Square”-style homes, or the modern tower apartments on 17th too.
