It’s important for people to be aware of how to prevent any type of cold or flu—especially those living in close quarters with many other people, such as apartment renters.

The US Fund for UNICEF is looking for volunteers to help with the Denver Tap Project! Volunteers are needed to launch the campaign, from working with local restaurants to doing PR/ blogging for us. It's a great opportunity to meet people if you're just moving to the area, plus you'll be a part of a fantastic campaign!

During the 2008 Democratic National Convention, many cultural events will be taking place throughout Denver. Most of the DNC action takes place in Downtown Denver (like at Sculpture Park pictured above) and surrounding neighborhoods. All the events featured below are open to the public, and most are free or reasonably priced.

At a recent show at the Bluebird I snapped this photo of a message written on a bathroom stall advertisement. It reads:
ElitistHipsterSnob.com
Hipsters are douche
bags with no cause
or purpose, just total
idiots wearing American
Apparel
Who exactly is this ElitistHipsterSnob.com? And are hipsters really douche bags?

Personally I’m hoping so and the rest of you need to hop on the Obama train with his runaway victory in Iowa he has certainly proven the critics wrong. Now it’s on to New Hampshire and soon Denver for the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

I have noticed lately this unusual fellow who has face to bark confrontations with many of the trees in my neighborhood. A while since my last entry… this one is bound to be of prime choice cut blogging at its finest.

How do you make a house feel like a home with a yard when your house is actually an apartment with a balcony - a tower no less - where the closest living green things are 100 feet below you? Well, try Tower Balcony Gardening!
