…small-town rural in a ten-year time warp

Don your "Vote for Pedro" tees now…it’s as if you walked onto location of the Napoleon Dynamite set. A quaint community with a rural feel, North Fort Worth is quiet, established and historic, with a few warehouses, industrial buildings and an enclave to the north that is mostly Hispanic.

Manicured gardens surround many of the Tudors and Bungalows from the 1900s–1930s. Other housing ops include 1960s-built homes that face the city skyline and custom-designed structures within the new housing development of Charleston.

Other than the residents going about their business (feeding Tina, drawing ligers, testing their time machines), it’s a quiet little area. The Fort Worth Meachum Airport makes a bit of noise, as do the nearby Stockyards, but this area’s shady oaks and the Trinity River to the west make for a peaceful setting that almost seems stuck in time.
