Grapevine

Send to a friend

…with so much going on, you’re tuned in to everything

Well, for one, there are about nine wineries, so this would be the place to learn about Texas reds 'n' whites, and then celebrate with year-round events like GrapeFest in the fall (attended by 250,000 people) or New Vintage Festival in the spring.

Conveniently located between Ft. Worth and Dallas, this area has tons of Grapevine apartments ready for new movers. The shopping ops are legendary; the downtown area, with its Historic Main Street District, has a personality all its own, and there's plenty to do with over 100 restaurants, cafes, the movies. Or you can get yourself over to the Grapevine Opry at the restored Art Deco theater - kick up your heels to the country acts who come through town.

More physical types can windsurf, sail or fish in the huge manmade lake. Or, play golf at one of the three courses rated among the top 50 by Golf Digest. If "on the move" means getting out of the area, you're pretty close to DFW Airport so flying anywhere is easy. Driving into the cities is another story—sometimes getting to major downtown areas can take up to 45 minutes.

But really…with all the action in Grapevine, who needs the big city anyway? Just hang out and help yourself to another bunch of wild mustang grapes.

Grapevine has a Walk Score of 78!
