It’s important for people to be aware of how to prevent any type of cold or flu—especially those living in close quarters with many other people, such as apartment renters.

Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie offers live Thoroughbred Horse racing in the spring-usually April through July and then they hiatus until the fall for the Quarter Horse races. The Park is open year round for simulcast racing events around the country. Unless you are a die hard fan of simulcast horse betting, the live races are where the true action lies.

Barnett Shale may be the largest onshore natural gas field in the United States. While proven to have 2.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, it could contain as much as 30 trillion cubic feet! Not until the technological advancement of horizontal drilling though was Barnett Shale able to become a major producer of natural gas. Horizontal drilling allows companies to drill horizontally – this is key because DFW basically sits on top of Barnett Shale. Now drillers can retrieve natural gas that lies beneath neighborhoods. Cha ching!

The battle continues…if the Supreme Court thinks so, our local Exxon Mobil (Irving based) may be liable for punitive damages in connection with the 1998 oil spill along 1200 miles of Alaskan coastline.
