Arlington…Cowboys + Rangers = The Big Time


Once upon a time, Arlington’s main claim to fame was its location at the exact midway point on the trolley line connecting Dallas and Fort Worth. Since then, in true Texas fashion, Arlington has gone big, and then bigger.

Perfectly located between the two major cities, Arlington can now lay claim to some big-time residents like the Texas Rangers, Six Flags Over Texas (the original Six Flags), General Motors, Siemens, and in a few short years, the Dallas Cowboys.

With a constantly growing population (currently around 350,000), Arlington offers residents every kind of home choice imaginable, along with four well-known golf courses, two lakes, the Arlington Municipal Airport (despite being only a short drive from the DFW International Airport), some wooded hills, the requisite amount of museums and art galleries, and the Arlington branch of the University of Texas. The number of Arlington apartments is amazing and the population of renters grows everyday.

Texans love to say “Go big or go home.” Arlington’s going for the former.
