The 13th Annual Great Fruitcake Toss (that’s the actual name)…

The 13th Annual Great Fruitcake Tosswas held in Manitou Springs this past weekend in Memorial Park where people (of all ages) chucked, lobbed and launched the dessert (with a bad rap) into the air for a local food bank (and perhaps a shiny prize).

According to Jean Lemaire, by eliminating guns, we can increase male life expectancy. In the wake of the recent church shootings in Colorado Springs and Denver - the need for gun control is more and more necessary.

This photo is from the Friday night Rockies game, as fans that were sitting in the Rock Pile, and adjacent to the Rock Pile, began migrating to the field for firework viewing and to avoid falling debris from the show.
