Ok, so it's not the OC, but what is? Maybe Gleneagle is a healthy cross between 7th Heaven and Father Knows Best (an ancient TV sitcom...but you get the idea).

This is the perfect place to raise a kid or two. It's a nice, involved, "over-the-fence" kind of 'hood where people know their next door neighbors' names. Locals work hard to make sure everything is done well—like recycling, outside spring cleaning, recipe-swapping, newsy updates and even a green-thumb award for the best garden.

But it's not all HGTV all the time. Residents enjoy some parks for playing, biking and walking, golf courses and even the Gleneagle Country Club for relaxing. In fact, when the time comes to head out for some fun, they probably invite a friend or two to go along.

It's the neighborly thing to do.
