Nestled at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Downtown Colorado Springs is just purely delightful. Even on a weekday afternoon the park is singing with live music, while the neighborhood kids dance around in the fountains of splashing water spurting from the ground. Surrounding the park are blocks of cute boutiques, cozy cafes and hip bars. My favorite thing to do is grab a burrito at Big City Burrito, and then hop on down to the funky Book Broker and nestle through isles of unique reads. If you’re feeling active, the YMCA is just right across the street. Downtown Colorado Springs has enough fun things to do for the whole family in just a few blocks radius.
