…a place to learn, diversify and chill
Just beyond the reaches of the Brown Line’s last stop sits North Park, a tree-lined community with a diverse population.

Originally Swedish and German, it’s now home to Asians, Middle-Easterners, Latinos and Eastern Europeans, who stay here because of the moderately-priced housing, the welcoming, business-friendly atmosphere and the generous amount of breathing room. A handful of parks and the 46-acre North Park Village Nature Center provide ample green space to stroll, bike, jog and wander, while great ethnic food keeps everyone happy.

When residents want a little focus, they can find it at nearby schools including Northeastern Illinois and North Park Universities. These institutions, plus Swedish Covenant Hospital, keep the otherwise quiet neighborhood active.
