…sweet home Chicago graystones

As a neighborhood with more historic homes than there are great Chicago restaurants, Kenwood resembles an affluent suburb. But don’t despair—this mile-square section of land on the south side is a surprisingly affordable, mostly residential enclave that offers close proximity to the University of Chicago, the lake and everything beyond, via Lake Shore Drive, Metra and the CTA.

There’s a plan in place to continue building up the area to add single-family homes and townhomes, parks, retail and businesses, which will create a high demand in the area. So, if you’re looking for your next sweet home, you may want to make your bid before the good ones are gone.
