Recession? What recession? With all the new restaurants popping up in Atlanta these days, it’s hard to believe the economy has taken a hit. Hopefully your hunger is still thriving.

The Iberian Pig Restaurant at 121 Sycamore St. in Decatur – If you are obsessed with everything espanol (like myself) then you’ll love this new rustic, yet modern, Spanish eatery complete with unique tapas, wine and cocktails.

Miller Union Restaurant at 999 Brady Avenue in West Atlanta – Check out this original hot spot that just opened down the street from GA Tech featuring local, sustainable ingredients and eclectic cocktails in a refurbished stockyard warehouse.

Amuse Restaurant at 560 Dutch Valley Rd. in Piedmont Park – This place takes its global fusion theme from its plates to its walls and beyond. Don’t leave your sense of adventure at home!

57th Fighter Group Restaurant at 3829 Clairmont Rd. in Chamblee – You may remember this retro kitchen from a few years ago, but you’ll definitely want to check out its updated décor and dishes.

Havana Sandwich Shop at 3979 Buford Hwy in Chamblee – Swing by for a sandy on your next jaunt down Buford Highway and check out the updated décor at this new location.

Cafe Campesino at 209 Edgewood Ave in Sweet Auburn – Don’t miss this new hotspot in the downtown Sweet Auburn Curb Market featuring sensational baked goods and a comfy, cozy atmosphere.
