Historic railroad service and distribution buildings (now lofts) are the heart of Castleberry Hill, just a half mile south of
the CNN Center and Centennial Olympic Park.

While lofts are the predominant housing here you’ll find plenty of Castleberry Hill apartments and condos here too.

The neighborhood has the most complete warehouse district in the city, packed with storefronts (tons of local eateries and retailers) tucked into the old railway structures. Like many areas in Atlanta, Castleberry Hill’s historic district is on the National Register of Historic Places. In fact, you can still see the railroad tracks running through the ’hood.

The Castleberry Hill Art District lives up to its name with a host of small local galleries and studios. If sports are more your thing, Philips Arena (Atlanta Thrashers hockey and Atlanta Hawks baseball) and the Georgia Dome (Falcons football) are right nearby too.

Just don’t trip over those railroad tracks…
